Made a level editor for my game! Storing levels in the code was eating up the token limit, but now I can easily edit and serialize levels to the cartridge data instead. #gamedev #pico8

@FreyaHolmer You do lose local control with natural cubic splines, but from my own experience, moving one of the control points actually affects the rest of the spline a very miniscule amount, and it is mostly limited to the local area. It felt just like a Catmull-Rom, but smoother!

@FreyaHolmer 6 chunks of iron and one single stick. I also think the iron/stick ratio doesn't give sticks nearly enough credit :P At least it looks nice and symmetric in the crafting grid

@LukaszM111 Finding the areas was quite clever! I saw the double area relationship fairly quickly, but it didn't occur to me to also take the area of the big triangle as well, and the double angle identity to get cos(x)!

@LukaszM111 I was able to prove it by assuming it was 60, and then plugging in the angles. I wonder how you would do it without that assumption. 🤔
