Mathematical results can't be fully understood until their proofs are understood Proofs are not only for logical correctness a good proof must be clear. Correctness & clarity go together a well written proof is more likely to be a correct proof since mistakes are harder to hide

<3, the heart emoji aka "I love you". <4 is an intensifier? "I really love you". But the latter is weaker! x < 3 implies x < 4, but not vice versa, so x < 3 is the stronger (more informative) statement. I guess it should be <2?

Just completed reading LLM Engineer's Handbook today: I give it a 7/10 I wish there were tiny examples from scratch to focus on the topic instead of building up one from the repo. Field is still evolving so how we understand building/deploying LLMs may change.

Practicing many rigorous math exercises gives you insight into the abstract Mastering a theorem 1 Make sure you understand what the theorem says. 2 Determine how the theorem is used. 3 Find out what the hypotheses are doing there. 4 Memorize the statement of the theorem.
