Here’s my idea for how we proceed If you want to wear a mask, wear one. If you don’t, don’t If you want to open your business, open it. If you don’t, don’t If you want to leave your house, leave it. If you don’t, don’t We all make our own choices and live our lives. The end.
@MattWalshBlog If this were morally consistent logic, there‘d be no need for banning smoking in public places and hospitals, vaccinating children attending public schools, seat-belt laws, the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, et al. Liberty and social responsibility aren’t mutually exclusive.
@MattWalshBlog @KurtSchlichter I want to try! If you want to drive 130 mph down the highway, do it. If you don't, don't. If you want to wear clothes while walking down the street, do it. If you want to be free, don't. If you want to get an abortion, get one. If you think it's murder, don't.
@MattWalshBlog And if you choose to go out and you get yourself infected, you waive the right to any medical care because that's subjecting the medical personnel and their other patients to undue risk.
@MattWalshBlog @Liz_Wheeler This is all too much common sense for that broad swath of the population that wants big brother to tell them what to do. Look now for the “you want to kill my parents/grandparents” crowd to come out of the woodwork. They can’t comprehend “stay home if you want.”
@MattWalshBlog This makes too much sense. It will never happen.
