@DarranMarshall Agree and disagree it’s a staffing issue but it’s potential staff not wanting to work for a poor management locally!! This isn’t a money thing as they are offering 9.60 per hour to even those under 21! NT can pedal the nonsense all they wish simply a management issue!

@Davidontour1 @BBCNewsNI They made them all redundant the whole team years of experience!! Giants Causeway making no money now so they have to push for other sources!! The reason it won’t open is due to poor management nothing to do with recruitment challenges that’s peddling an world of nonsense!!

@AllisterMcB1981 @BBCNewsNI I disagree… NT Paid fairly especially to those under 21 as they paid them all at the 21 rate that’s a fact! This apparent lack of staff is solely down to the management left, they all need to have a look at themselves no one want to work for them!! That to is a fact!

@castlerock965 @BBCNewsNI @NationalTrustNI Made the whole of Carrick a rede staff redundant as well after leaving them@on furlough for a year! Didn’t have the gumption to open it back up again despite being given clear ideas how to do so… poor management from within the region of the north coast! Disgusting behaviour!

So today marks the last day of my time with the National Trust (reluctantly)!! I had a great 5 1/2 years working with some awesome people and learnt so much. I’d like to think as a team we made some great changes to the place which will stand in good stead when things return.
