This weekend marks two decades since Gibraltar's tercentenary celebrations. One of the more memorable events saw thousands of people take part in the 'Hands Around The Rock', forming a human chain, to celebrate 300 years of British sovereignty, on 4th August 2004.

Great event at @GibGarrisonLib with @NigelBiggar. 🇬🇮 Interesting discussion on colonialism, and whether #Gibraltar’s status as a non-self governing territory has any relevance in the modern world. Always nice to see a former Fellow of @OrielOxford, my alma mater!

Plato was right: a person’s moral character is not revealed so much by the things they say, but by what they do when they have the power to do wrong with impunity.

I'm undertaking an internship with @OxfordLawFac's Cameroon Conflict Research Group. The crisis in Cameroon is neglected by the media, and half the issue is raising awareness. Please follow @camerooncrisis if you're interested in learning more! nrc.no/news/2019/june…
