Now that I’ve had the chance to replay RE9UIEM multiple times, I wanted to recap my thoughts. 🔸 Graphics – Best looking RE game to date. 🔸 Gameplay / Replayability – Nice blend of different gameplay styles that keep things engaging. Currently on my 5th playthrough. A couple areas drag (intro and orphanage), but overall solid. 🔸 Survival Horror / Action Balance – Feels like a mix of RE2R, RE3R, and RE4R with some elements of RE5 & RE6, but it works better than expected. An identity crisis that somehow works. 🔸 Enemy Design – Nice variety. Loved seeing classic enemies return. Smart zombies add variety in how encounters play out, and Blister Heads were great. Very tense, similar to the Clickers in The Last of Us. 🔸 Boss Fights – Good overall. Super Tyrant was a highlight. Some clever environmental mechanics mixed with scripted moments. Final boss felt almost copy/paste from RE3R, but I didn’t mind it. 🔸 Weapons / Combat – Good variety. Would’ve liked a few more gun options for Grace, but the unlockables are fun. Leon has the right amount. No minigun though 😔 🔸 Map Design – Rhode Hill was fantastic and very much like the RPD as far as the layout design. Leon’s early Raccoon City section felt confusing and bland at first, but flows much better on replay. Loved the look of RC once you reach the RPD and onward. Ark had some very cinematic locations with decent back tracking. 🔸 Puzzles – Easy and fewer than I hoped for, but glad they’re there. An improvement over Village & RE3R. 🔸 Soundtrack – Fantastic mix of new and classic RE sounds. Loved the synth. 🔸 Side Content – A couple unlockable outfits, weapons, and perks. No bonus modes yet. Hoping DLC expands this. The door is wide open for another 4th survivor. 🤞 🔸 Story – Decent but a bit convoluted with a few plot holes. Loved the references to past RE games. The core plot is kind of silly when you think about it, but still still kept me interested. Overall – Not a perfect Resident Evil game, but a really solid one. Great replay value, fantastic presentation, and a fun ride for RE fans. What are your thoughts? 🤔

RUMOR: Resident Evil: Requiem DLC is already in an advanced stage of development🚀 ✅Originally conceived to space out the release between RE9 and the upcoming Code Veronica & Zero Remakes, back when Requiem was coming out in 2025 ✅It got delayed, so the DLC should be releasing much closer after launch than originally intended, especially with Code Veronica remake set to be announced this year ✅Alyssa, maybe playable in the DLC since a rigged playable model of hers is claimed to be in the game ✅Post-launch bonus modes added likely to be added to the game ✅DLC likely focuses on Leon not Grace ✅Alyssa may be playable in a bonus mode (like Mercenaries and the likes) ✅Leon content that were cut from the game (some even confirmed devs) may be repurposed for the DLC ✅Second Raccoon City section where you could drive around is claimed to have been cut ✅A return to the Spencer Estate from RE1 was also cut ✅There’s also a scene where Leon talks about retiring, which was cut ✅Source heard of content about Leon set in 2020, as Nakanishi commented about content for Leon set between RE7-RE8 to bridge the gap about why happened to him after RE6 ✅Source is suspicous of Leon flashbacks being removed from the game which may be put into DLC What DLC hope to see for Requiem?😎 Source: Dusk Golem (None of this info has been officially confirmed) #REBHFun
