#PharmacyFirst sounds like a win-win for patients and GPs, but is it really? Great initiative, but what support do GPs get to adapt? I think Pharmacy First is a step in the right direction but further actions need to be in place to support GPs further.
When #pharmacyfirst was launched,I said key to its success was never the expertise to deliver but more importantly,urgently addressing the underfunding of Community Pharmacy in England and the resulting closures. Will be discussing again on @BBCRB at 9:20 this morning.
