@adamkeatingnl @florianvillaume @joshuagreen551 @__jermandrews__ @Andrew_Parsons1 @msimms28 @emily_bland @scottastevenson @paulpreston_nl @brettvokey @Genesis_Centre @MUN_MCE To add to Adam's point on Pelorus. It's just over 5 years into its fund life with about 10 investments made. It has 1 exit already over a 5 year period and almost all of its portfolio companies are still active and growing. It's currently raising Fund II and needs to close.

@adamkeatingnl @florianvillaume @joshuagreen551 @__jermandrews__ @Andrew_Parsons1 @msimms28 @emily_bland @scottastevenson @paulpreston_nl @brettvokey In my view, I feel we would need alot more people to grow the tech sector in NL. @Genesis_Centre and @MUN_MCE certainly have huge roles to play and we need to double down on success from both hubs in my opinion.

@adamkeatingnl @florianvillaume @joshuagreen551 @__jermandrews__ @Andrew_Parsons1 @msimms28 @emily_bland @scottastevenson @paulpreston_nl @brettvokey Based on the data, it looks to me like we only have 1.2% of our entire population of 522,000 people working in tech. And 2.5% of our entire labour force working in tech. In other words, 97.5% of the entire labour force do not work in tech.

@adamkeatingnl @florianvillaume @joshuagreen551 @__jermandrews__ @Andrew_Parsons1 @msimms28 @emily_bland @scottastevenson @paulpreston_nl @brettvokey I would agree with @adamkeatingn, well said! In addition to Adam's point #4. We need to grow the number of people working in tech. According to TechNL we have approx. 200 pure tech companies at different growth stages and they employ approx 6500 people.
