We have lost Flo to DIPG, a 4 year old that loved unicorns and princesses. We have been praying for Flo daily for months. Flo spent the last month life in a coma at home where she felt safe and wanted to be. We pray for the tragic grief that consumes her parents. In Jesus name, Amen. ✝️🙏🏼💛🙏🏼✝️ From DIPG advocate Jo EnoughoftheRare Bishop and Flo’s parents: “Flo has passed away after a thirteen month fight with dipg. She was just four years old. Flo fought with courage, bravery and grace as her family did everything possible to save her life, she took part in trials but spent the last month of her life resting peacefully and surrounded by love. So many of us only knew Flo through social media but will remember her for being busy and inquisitive about the world, for being sweet and caring always, for being vibrant and full of life, for being bright and beautiful, for her zest for life and limitless energy, for her strength and steadfast resilience, Princess Flo loved playing unicorns and horses, princesses and dressing up, to put on makeup up. She loved music and stories, nature and animals. Flo was full of light and magic, she showed us all how to live in the moment and find joy in every day. We will remember her always. Please keep Flo's loved ones in your thoughts and prayers. Magic exists. Who can doubt it, when there are rainbows and wildflowers, the music of the wind and the silence of the stars? Anyone who has loved has been touched by magic. It is such a simple and such an extraordinary part of the lives we live. Nora Roberts If you look up the sky tonight you will see it’s a little brighter as there is now a new star resting high above our house. Flo passed away today after her 13 month battle with cancer, surrounded by love, in her mummy and daddy’s arms and showered in rainbows from the autumn sun warmly beaming through the louvred windows. For the past month Flo had been in a peaceful coma, a bubble that we thought might somehow last forever. It was so beautiful to have her here, comfortable in her own home and for 3 months longer than we thought possible. It was an honour to care for her and continue to make her dreams come true each day and stay in that 4 year old mind - were only joy and passion exists. We’ve promised to live in that same mindset and love one another fiercely just as we loved Flo and she loved us. She is and will forever be a magical princess 🦄❤️ Thank you all for the love and support.”
