@KurtSupeCPA You threw the younger daughter in as a compassion curveball. In reality (99%+) it’s one deadbeat loser child and one high achieving child who busted their ass to the top, and some parents feel a need to equalize their kids’ quality of life despite their different life choices.
@KurtSupeCPA Equal = fair, if you raised them the same and gave them the same opportunities, anything other than an equal distribution is unfair and just a tax on financial success. Pay the daughter that is helping out >= what she’d have earned working, but split the inheritance equally.
