NEW: Brightline is in talks with Miami-Dade to build five train platforms between Miami and Aventura and launch a $425 million commuter-rail system as the for-profit rail company plans to launch express trains to Orlando in the coming years. trib.al/471r8D1
@MiamiHerald I will love this, @EpcotCentre is one of my happy places, but I know feel too old to take the drive back and force to it 👍🙏

@MiamiHerald Why does Miami Dade ignore its communities/citizens south of Kendall? Instead of an efficient rail system what did they get, buses. Total inequality inefficient and antiquated. Where is the political representation?
@MiamiHerald If the county is going to pump money into commuter rail, that rail should be going west. Like the line parallel to the Dolphin that was promised back in 2002 when we voted for the half-cent sales tax increase.
@MiamiHerald Rick Scott opted for this bullshit instead of the actual highspeed rail that was being offered to Florida.
