Michael Johnson II @MichaelAzayas

Much respect for engaging my comments. But I think my body, disease, and immune response metaphor wasn’t clear. When I speak about disease and immune response in this context, I’m talking about how people respond to anything that threatens our health and well-being. It’s about having standards and being willing to take whatever steps are necessary to adhere to them. I acknowledge and accept other people have a different set of values than I do, but the fact that Lil Nas X is more likely to receive an achievement award from the NAACP, BET, Essence, or The Grio than Tony Dungy says something very important about where we are today. That wouldn’t have been the case 60 years ago. People sometime bring up the “dirty blues” of Lucille Bogan, but she certainly wasn’t going to get a cover spread in Ebony. People who push dysfunction and degeneracy within the black community face very little social or cultural penalty for doing so, which is why the list of people doing so keeps growing. It’s why a no-talent rapper like Sexyy Red can go from rapping about the color of her body parts to having her music played in the VP’s house at a party for HBCU students. This isn’t new or unique to female rappers. Meek Mill plastering naked images of black women from his album on buses and trains in Philly didn’t cost him anything—either socially or financially. And if I can go back even further to Snoop showing up to an awards show in the early 2000s with two black women in dog collars. I’m fairly certain the reaction to that would have been different if it was Eminem treating the same women like literal b*tches. One reason the condition I describe is so easy to see is that even many black *conservatives* will run cover for these artists. If I say “hey guys, perhaps using our musical talents to degrade our women and promote violence between men is a bad idea” I know that I’ll hear about how hip hop as a shining example of capitalism, how much artists give back to their communities how white kids buy the majority of rap music, how it’s the responsibility of parents to monitor what their kids listen to, and why no one ever grills Marilyn Manson and Nirvana. You also mentioned crime, which is one area where the things I describe are clear as day. Any *public* discussion of the small number of young men willing to turn the streets of North Philly, Southeast DC, and West Baltimore into a shooting range is met with the same responses. It’s “what about “white-on-white crime?” or “84% of white people are killed by other white people” or “that’s a racist trope” or claims that we wouldn’t have these issues if the schools were fully funded, everyone had healthcare, and the rec centers stayed open until midnight instead of 9PM. The “pro-black” pundits who respond this way completely ignore the fact that homicide is the leading cause of death for young black men (ages 15-24) and the second leading cause of incarceration. Our homicide rate is 7x higher than that for white men. All that said, the ONE thing that we do police in our community is unpopular political opinions. Sukihana can twerk on little boys with no fear of repercussion, but Chrisette Michele performed for five minutes at Trump’s inauguration and was made a cultural outcast, forced to apologize and grovel for her black card to be reactivated. And as I’ve written before, black pimps, shooters, and drug dealers are all treated with more respect than black conservatives. Popular culture is similar to agriculture: what who plant, water, and give light to will grow. What you prune and weed will not. This is why the institutions and organizations that cater to a black audience are far bolder about defending dysfunction than heterodox political thought. I hope this clarifies the point I was making.

I’m not sure if I’m MAGA or not. I only get called MAGA by people on the Internet who hate me. I don’t have a hat. It’s not in my bio. I don’t consider myself a republican. I’ve had the same values since I was six years old. I wasn’t born in this country. Trump wasn’t president when I learned what I believe. My values didn’t change because social media told me to change. Here’s what I believe in: God exists and He is not optional. Christian is the first word in my bio for a reason. He means everything and it is who I am. Life begins at conception, abortion is not empowerment. Strong borders are not hateful, they are basic governance. Merit matters, outcomes are earned. Work hard, don’t whine, don’t ask the government to rescue you. Crime should be punished, not reframed as a lived experience. Parents raise children, not schools, activists, or bureaucrats. Men are men, women are women, reality is not negotiable. America is exceptional, worth defending, and nothing to apologize for. Be proud. Free speech exists for speech you don’t like. Law enforcement is necessary, not oppressive. Capitalism works, and everyone complaining is still using it. Hard work builds character, dependency destroys it. National sovereignty matters more than global feelings. Personal responsibility beats victimhood every time. If that makes me MAGA, fine. If it doesn’t, also fine. I didn’t borrow these beliefs from a movement. I learned them from my parents. I love them and trust them more than I will ever trust a political party. They actually care about my well-being. I don’t know what that makes me and frankly, I don’t care.

@megthepatriot @rightresponsem Biblically, I think that they advocate that women stay under the "covering" of their fathers house. Provision for women is always required from the head of the home the woman is in until another man chooses to cover her and take that responsibility in a Godly manner

Prospective is informed by distance. The closer you are to Him, the easier you can tell how much bigger He is than your sins.

Spinning with your kid is either a young man's game or something you shouldn't do after drinking a cup of coffee... I'm not sure which 😵‍💫

Hey @MayorBMScott, do we know why the metro was evacuated this afternoon? Is there a safety issue we should be concerned about? Do we know when the stations will be back operational?

@Sam45p1 That's fantastic, you with the parents?

I'm not the man I want to be, but hopefully I'm the man God wants me to be

@Sam45p1 Hey man! How are you and the fam!

Whoa, is making a legal challenge against what they believe to be illegal voting corruption? Let them do their legal proceedings, be proven wrong and then go. That's due process everyone's entitled to

The only Democrat campaign ad you need to see this year.

@sowanch @KingShukid254 Honey is the way to start. I now drink sugarless tea and only use honey about three times a month. When I get the taste

@RubinReport The answer to regulation could be Yangs concept to make your data a human right. Twitter has the hubris to censure because users aren't customers, they are product. Giving rights to data we provide makes social media more cautious about banning users.

As recently as last month, Webster’s Dictionary included a definition of “preference” as “orientation” or “sexual preference.” TODAY they changed it and added the word “offensive." Insane - I just checked through Wayback Machine and it’s real. (via @Thorsvensonn & @chadfelixg)

I'm well aware that the story could be false, but the same standards of authenticating stories should be given to all sides. @Twitter should respond to these questions.
