@simcity99 The most conclusive proof of this is the users: look at collegiate and high school robotics teams, where cost and simplicity dominate. In these spaces, Orin Nanos, RPis+Hailo (either directly or in something like a Limelight 4), and Orange Pi 5s dominate. Nobody is using Qualcomm
@HanxiaoM Ah the pulsar (1?) docs refer to the NDA, the pulsar 2 English docs(found from your huggingface link) refer to an NDA, but if you change the language to Chinese there is a Google Drive link.
I opened an issue on GH github.com/AXERA-TECH/pul…
@KyleMorgenstein When I first saw the Newton announcement I was in shambles because I thought Nvidia was backing not one but 2 physics engines in the robotics sim space and I prayed they would just pick one and make it good. Glad that they're doing this rather than developing both in parallel.
@KyleMorgenstein Does it work with the Isaac Lab Extension repo? I've had trouble getting my Isaac Lab install to work with it so I am lazy and just add my code under the tasks directory... Maybe this will fix my installation woes
@astrodanish@neuralink Have you heard of RoboMaster? I'm a software guy but I know a bunch of unemployed meches on my team who would love a FT/internship.
@IlirAliu_ And you can see the engineer cube, and the grey M3508 wheels. This is definitely using RM hardware, although this video is likely old since it has the 2 armor panel design, meaning it's b4 the latest ruleset (unless it's just a testbed, or they're doing weird mounting)
@IlirAliu_ This is 100% a balancing infantry chassis used in the Robomaster robotics competition. They even use the DJI remote. The person(s) behind this is most likely a college student in China.

I run a collegiate robotics club at UC San Diego that competes in RoboMaster, which is basically 3v3 robot paintball.
We are manufacturing all 3 robots rn so another 3D Printer would be super helpful, as we only have one that can print TPU and CF Nylon
@aaronlucas21 This is cool, but the US does have this! Robomaster NA takes place in the US every year. robomasterna.com . VexU and combat robotics clubs(NHRL etc.) are also present at nearly every university with an engineering program.
What if we could extend our discretization of the laplacian to not just work in R^n but on surfaces? This is what Discrete Exterior Calculus can do. The DEC Laplacian works on standard triangle meshes, and is quite similar to the 4 point stencil.
Many experts erroneously believe that the “P vs. NP” problem is unsolved, primarily because they have not seen the multitude of solutions available on Vixra.
Discretization schemes are super interesting! How can one frame the Laplacian of a function as a matrix multiplication? We sample the function at grid points and then use the 5-point stencil. We frame the function as a vector, where each entry represents the value at a grid point
This week I learned about the five-point stencil for the Laplacian(Δ). The Laplacian is a measure of how bowl-like a 2d surface is, so you do finite difference in 4 directions. Adding these different directions up. if they all go up/down, it's a bowl. Otherwise, they cancel out.
Unfortunately, my Internet provider, @Comcast (AS7922), does NOT implement BGP safely. Check out isbgpsafeyet.com to see if your ISP implements BGP in a safe way or if it leaves the Internet vulnerable to malicious route hijacks. via @Cloudflare
