Is it just me, or is react-router-dom v6 one of the most annoying packages of the last decade? I go through a bunch of breaking changes in my app just to get it compiling, only to discover it is missing basic functionality like scrolling to the top of the page on navigation…

The urge to rewrite is a mental cancer. Nuke the old and start over from scratch. Only 2% of the times it works. 98% of the times it doesn't succeed because it underestimates inherent complexity, and the difficulty to steer interdependent complex systems. 🧵
