Well intentioned, but just like rooting out an occasional fraudulent study ie image manipulation, regulating bodies can do as much harm as good, as they give the impression that something is being done when in fact they are bandaid measures trying to stop haemorrhaging. Real change can only take place by wholesale change of incentivised structures, which involve removing opaque and indirect vetting processes allied to corporate profits.
