It also occurs to me there may be fire safety provisions which prevent some #disabled people being able to be in the basement unless there is an exit at basement level?

Good question. I'm sure I read some recent research that the gap between the number of #disabled people owning a smart phone and the number of non-disabled people is quite significant. Built-in discrimination when #access is only via phone apps.

Not sure you understand #accessibility. Stairs to gain access renders the show inaccessible for many #disabled people. Does the venue at the top of the 16 stairs have a loop system for #deaf people ? Are there #accessible toilets ?

Hi there. Can I suggest you put #accessibility for #disabled people front and centre of the @edbookfest ? Rather than have to work out which bits are #accessible, could there be a dedicated section on #access and map levels of #accessibility ?

It was such a pinch me moment to be asked to shoot for @drmartens SS22 campaign… But it was an even bigger pinch me moment, to see myself and my mobility aid in a shop window. Thank you for being a driving force for inclusion @drmartens @ZebedeeMan 🤍
