Federal hydropower is a renewable reliable base load resource for over a million end use consumer-owners in the Missouri River Basin.
The Mid-West Board of Directors toured the Garrison Power Plant and USFWS Fish Hatchery today and met with plant operators and officials from the @OmahaUSACE. It was great to talk about power customer funded projects and the value of hydropower to our 313 member utilities

The Nebraska Villages of Paxton and Trenton were among 11 municipalities and one military base in Kansas and Nebraska that were approved to receive at-cost federal hydropower from WAPA’s Loveland Area Projects. publicpower.org/periodical/art…
