Honestly, one of the best conversations I’ve had on the topic of productiveness vs productivity.

Recording with @mikevardy tonight. Last call: what should I ask him about real work vs. the look of work? The conversation goes up after.

She used the word efficacy, unprompted. It's one of the nine principles in my own book, and in 600-plus episodes nobody else has reached for it. Finding someone who arrived there from a completely different direction was the best part of this one.

Radical hope isn't optimism and it isn't denial. It's holding a clear-eyed view of how hard something is at the same time as believing it can change. New conversation with Dr. Tiffany G. Townsend. aproductiveconversation.transistor.fm/s1/680 #Productiveness #LeadershipDevelopment

I got to see Cory Doctorow speak tonight, but I feel by posting it here on social media that I’m being hypocritical.

Anyone out there I know interested? This is a prime opportunity.

ClickUp is looking for someone to run social media. I helped build the content engine here, so I truly care who gets this. Tag the best social media person you know. Someone who actually gets the internet, is great with AI, and wants to build something legendary.

Tomorrow I'm recording episode 1 of The Evening Report with @mikevardy. One question I'll ask: what's the clearest sign someone is doing real work, not just looking busy? What would you ask him?

Got this shirt at @fivebelow in midtown Manhattan last month. Sometimes I like to wear my reminders.

Starting The Evening Report: short conversations with people who've managed real teams. Episode 1 is with @mikevardy, author of Productiveness. Topic: real work vs. the look of work. Recording Wednesday. Got a question for Mike? Reply and I'll ask the best ones.

The part of this I keep chewing on: stopping is an experiment too. Ending something that still works is a real question with real stakes, and you genuinely don't know the answer going in.

Experiments have an end in mind. Tinkering doesn't. One produces a decision; the other produces the feeling of progress without ever asking for one. New PM Talks with Patrick Rhone. aproductiveconversation.transistor.fm/s1/679 #Productiveness #IntentionalLiving

@p_millerd That's the question I spent Productiveness sitting with. I don't think the answer is a better system. I think it's a different center. (Want a copy?)

I’ve spent more time in my life figuring things out than moving things forward. I’m not sure if that was the right thing to do or not. Still figuring that out.
