Great fodder for jokes, but in all seriousness, every firm should have a policy of stepping in and telling an associate to slow down when they get into crazy numbers. Which I would put around 2500, but a lot of BigLaw people would laugh at that.

I had a year when I legit billed 2500, and that wiped me out. Some people are capable of more, of course, but I know what 200+ per month feels like.
@zachwolfelaw I worked 200+ hours/month without a day off from April to September 2022 to prepare for and be in trial. It almost killed me. These numbers posted here cannot be legitimate.
