Great first set. I really think these hard hit balls right at Raducanu need to stop, she absorbs pace wonderfully, and Laylah just robs herself of time. Touch more spin would make a big difference.

@jjvallejoa interesting. I know Rad is probably a bit more solid? Leylah played such a harder draw. Interesting that bookies have Rad as favourite

@j_sabourin The crowd getting behind her helps. It won't be if she doesn't win though, cause the Bianca win over Serena was insanity lol

As someone who grew up with Canadian tennis being players who struggled to even crack the top 50 at times, this is just an incredible moment.

What an excellent match. Leylah looks so good on the move. Canada just owning this tournament. Love to see it.

Two Canadians in the semis. Incredible. Too bad Alcaraz couldn't continue.

@4TheTennis It's true. ESPN feed cutting to John Isner feeds instead of an interesting match is why I'm so knowledgeable 💀

Leylah forehand just elite. On the move, inside out, inside in, you name it.

Movement of Fernandez is so improved since I last saw her. Really allowing her to let it rip. She's still just 18! Future so bright for Canadian tennis, it's wild.

@jjvallejoa Haha I was thinking about this watching one of the men's Wimbledon matches, maybe Shap? Where they kept blowing it over and over. I actually think it's more impactful if you had chances in 3 games to break and blew em all.
