Shocking service from @McDonalds and @UberEats. A missing item on my order and a drink spilled by the driver (over my hall floor) and when I ask for a refund they just say in accordance with their policy they won’t give a refund or let me speak to a manager.

Today we went to Crockford Bridge Farm pumpkin festival - a nice couple of hours with friends but quite disappointing for the entry fee given the relatively little there was there. Still the hot chocolate was nice! minimoo.life/2023/10/28/cro…

The Easter egg hunt in Beddington Park was brilliant last year - organised by the Grange restaurant, it only cost £1 (£1.50 this year) with a large chocolate egg for every child who took part. It was a beautiful day and we took a picnic. minimoo.life/2023/03/30/the…

Last Easter we went to a Peter Rabbit breakfast event at our local Dobbie’s garden centre. We got to enjoy breakfast then S coloured in an Easter crown, played games and listened to a story and got a book to take home (this year’s is slightly different). minimoo.life/2023/03/25/eas…

My four year old’s first time watching a football match, she has got the general idea and said ‘come on England’, ‘oh no France has got the ball’ and ‘mummy what they need to do is stand in a line in front of the goal’. Her football knowledge is now about as good as mine.

Dotty’s Tea Garden in Coulsdon hosted a Halloween afternoon tea in half term. My little witch (her costume, not her behaviour!) didn’t eat much but enjoyed the crafts. So probably not worth the cost in our case but it was a fun half term activity! minimoo.life/2022/11/04/hal…

Low bangs fireworks are a really good idea for children or anyone sensitive to loud noises. You can get a combined ticket for long bangs fireworks and the Halloween daytime event at Godstone Farm in Surrey, which was good fun last year. Read my review: minimoo.life/2022/10/22/god…

If you are looking for half term activities Godstone Farm in Surrey is great for kids - they have farm animals, a petting area, and dinosaurs! Though if you’ve been before you will notice the dinosaurs are much more colourful than they used to be… minimoo.life/2022/10/13/day…
