Do you mean the guy who never paid his $1.1M PPP loan and who stole $5M from funds that was designated for Mississippi’s poor? That one?

Brett Favre is paying Mississippi back $1.1 million in welfare money he received for speaking engagements and other purposes, according to State Auditor Shad White. White said the former star NFL quarterback paid his office $500,000 on Wednesday and he would "repay the remainder in installments over the next few months." The auditor said the money will eventually be sent to the Mississippi Department of Human Services for welfare-related expenditures. Favre received funds from the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families program, or TANF, in 2017 and 2018, according to a report the auditor released Monday. The money came through the Department of Human Services and a nonprofit, the Mississippi Community Education Center, or MCEC. The audit said the nonprofit paid Favre's company, Favre Enterprises, $1.1 million for appearances, promotions, autographs and speaking engagements that he didn't attend.
@Miniomaha @marlene4719 Amazing how White collar criminals do more long term damage than your avg criminal in prison, yet do little to zero prison time…🤷🏾♀️
@Miniomaha @marlene4719 I don’t understand why he wasn’t charged? Just had to pay it back 🤷🏻♀️Why hasn’t he been charged along with the governor for the volleyball stadium scandal? They both stole money from the poor? Why do the less fortunate do time& the rich walk? There is a 2 tier justice system!!
@Miniomaha @marlene4719 Only because he was caught & getting heat. The damage has been done to the folks that deserve the funds
@Miniomaha @marlene4719 How do these people steal so much money from the state? Is there no comptroller? Or are they crooked too?
@Miniomaha @marlene4719 His azz should be locked up. Period full stop. It’s amazing that those of a certain persuasion can get by breaking the law as well have the audacity to support a criminal.
@Miniomaha @marlene4719 This guy is despicable.
