Say it louder! Say NO to frontloading! It's not effective. Also TELLING Ss what they are "about to learn" is no way to get students to do any of the intellectual work. People who suggest otherwise don't believe (certain) Ss CAN learn #FiguringOut #BestPractices #ResearchBased

Inspired by @STEMTeachTools to make talk resource cards to support my students in equitable discussions! I used the prompts from the STT talk resources cards, but made the language more sixth grade friendly and color coded by discussion skills. Can’t wait to use these! #ngss
