I spent £150 in one of Brum's Michelin star restaurants (Adams) to see if it was worth the hype and the cost. I got high and cried. Here's how it went: birminghammail.co.uk/whats-on/food-…

Having open conversations with children about counselling and therapy was a beautiful moment for me this week. Education and wellbeing are taking a step forward and it's great to see ☄️

So impressed with my class' passion and true interest in relating our project to modern day and @DavidOlusoga.

Inspired by @DavidOlusoga life and teachings, pupils have been finding out about the life of St Hadrian and telling his story as part of their Anglo Saxon inquiry project.

Despite 2020 being a whirlwind of a year, there are two things I don't want to leave behind in November. This gorgeous autumn weather and my month's supply school which I've come to love so much 🧡🍂 #Christmas2020 #TEACHers #COVID19 #Autumn #EducationForAll

Today's agenda: making the most of warm weather and appreciating being in school during lockdown 🍂🧡 Year 5 did so well with this project, bringing a sense of calm to the classroom that I find always comes with nature based lessons 🌱 #outdoorlearning #teacherlife #edutwitter

Felt honoured and inspired by today's teaching moment at @HolyStoke! Educating Year 5 on the legend that is Dr Mae Jemison was a fantastic way to celebrate #BlackHistoryMonth Thank you for having me! #Teachers #MondayMotivation #inspirational #Bristol

Feeling on top of the world this weekend as I completed my first official school day as a qualified teacher! Supply work isn't what I expected to be doing right now but with every curve ball you become more able to roll with it! 2020 I'm not done with you yet 🤞🏼 #Teachers #learn

An agency just called to offer me TA work & then asked me to explain why I wouldn't be happy working as anything other than a teacher. Would you expect a doctor to work as a nurse? I doubt it. I owe it to myself to work the role I have trained and payed for #teachinginapandemic

Today I called up my broadband provider and ended up speaking to a Swansea based NQT. Us teachers of the future generation have been so resilient in times of hardship and I am so PROUD so be one of them 👩‍🏫 #WorkFromHome #resilient #careerchange #teacher #ourtimewillcome #BeKind

......and take us to school each morning was a privilege I did not take for granted. Yes teachers get home at 4pm, yes they get summers "off", but teaching is a lifestyle not a career. You are never off the clock. A blessing and a curse, but it has always been for me. #teacher

My first NQT books gifted from my parents. Being raised in a household with a teacher as a parent has been a consistent lifetime reminder that teaching is probably the most underpaid job in the world. Seeing my dad work daily until 3am just so he could have dinner with us........
