I'm so proud of this girl for answering the questions honestly. We're all so used to answering in a socially acceptable way instead of just being honest & vulnerable. In under a minute, you feel connected to a person because they were real. Don't be afraid to answer honestly.
inviting anyone who's struggling to my #BedsideBaptist tomorrow morning. it's a livetweet thing I do every Sunday morning that tries to uplift but also be raw about different things we all experience. it helps me too. 🥹😭 click the hashtag to get an idea of what it is. usually starts around 930/10ish. nondenominational, just good vibes. the worse you are, the more you're welcome. 🩶
I just recently set an appointment with a therapist and psychiatrist because of my postpartum depression and anxiety. I also started Zoloft. All of these things are very scary and nerve wracking. Because in the black community this ain’t what we do and it’s not accepted… so I’m navigating that. I appreciate this video.
@MissSassbox This a great account to follow in general. Love 💚
@MissSassbox Oh wow. Thank you for sharing. Yeah I'm not ok. Hard to say it.
@MissSassbox Oh she’s definitely me! I don’t even try to hide it. Used to but not since I got into therapy. She advised me not to hide how I am feeling; that way people will be able to help out, somehow?
@MissSassbox I want to hug her! I appreciate her vulnerability! 🥺🥺
