So far today, I have pulled carrots out of the freezer instead of butternut squash, had a whole conversation about defrosting clothes (I obviously meant drying) and just opened the microwave steamer to wash it, only to realise I didn’t put any water in it. I’m going to bed now…

@Mjeeby If a #TCK says you seem like one of us, that is most definitely a compliment 😉♥️ Also, #TCKs are part of a wider umbrella of #CrossCulturalKids and many of us find resonance and deep connection within this umbrella.

Someone told me today that I seemed like a #ThirdCultureKid, I’m not sure I technically fall into the category, however, as it was said in the middle of a discussion about culture, I’m going to take that label with pride! 🏅

@crankphoto Exactly! It’s madness! I just want to buy one backpack (preferably with wheels) that’ll fit under my seat and actually fit things in. I’m tempted to figure out/make my own! 🙈

Why in the world do the top 12 airlines (or at least the ones I’m most likely to fly with) have 10 different sizes for personal cabin bags?! #IJustWantLuggageThatFits 🙈

I’ve finally remembered the shopping bags (after like 6 weeks and 2 newly bought bags) only to forget the shopping list! 🤦🏻‍♀️

Just realised it’s #901Day and I’ve just spent the last 20 minutes chatting to a colleague about her possible trip to Memphis! It’s like the universe knew it was today #MemphisOnMyMind

In the last 5 minutes, I’ve almost crashed the car when the low fuel alert beeped (for the first time ever) and I’ve been ID’d whilst buying super glue!

16:42 - left the office 16:58 - arrived at the post office to collect a parcel before it closes at 5 I can confirm it is not a 16 minute walk and I’ve basically used up my energy for the entire week! 🥵

Lived here nearly 2 years, just slammed into a doorframe (that’s not moved the entire time I’ve lived here) so hard that I bounced off it! #BruisesLikeAPeach 🤦🏻‍♀️

I just had to put sugar in my ‘Sleepy Time’ tea to make it palatable, which might defeat the very object of the tea, but honestly it tasted like leaf water (which I guess it actually is…) 🤷🏻‍♀️

I have a 9am in-person meeting tomorrow, a 25 minute walk from my house. It’s rare I make it to work (even in my home office, a mere 15 steps from my bed) before 10am! Safe to say I didn’t book that meeting! #FlexibleWorkingLife
