Replaced the Let's Go protags with Red and Green, and even implemented the original wild battles and catching mechanics. We are so back.

@Scarecrohh Ok seriously though I don't think I even see the point of the northern half of the players army existing here, they're in more danger than the other half and they're kinda just getting exp rather than advancing the map. Unironically my biggest issue with this map

@CursedCatTruffa Genuinely a contender for the worst turn based battle system in the last decade

@AttaJac The DS games had the perfect solution for this too, since you had dedicated save points on each map that maintained the existance of a Lose State while softening the punishment. I don't get why the so-called "made for casuals" FE Awakening cut this mechanic out?

@AttaJac Earlier games very much had an issue with maps taking too long and map resets feeling terrible, fe6 maybe being the worst about this, so I get wanting to cut out some of that reset time. Making a game where you fundamentally can not lose was not the answer.

@PurrelyLily They'll tell you this is Emerald Wattson as if Emerald didn't update the Gym Leaders for good reason

@Forgot2Heal Not really significant. Raw stats from classes are more impactful. Flying Theodora is very very good, especially if her bulk shapes up.

@morningxroses To be fair it is Engage's fault that it frontloads all of its worst characters. Once you escape Firene they suddenly remembered how to write people. Celine is chill but a huge victim of C Supports

@RevivedOziach Revelation is the only one I'm overall negative on but if I'm counting Fates as a collective, yeah I think I at least like all of them

@MobileVespy See I actually liked the World Maps implementation in Part 3, and I think it makes for a cool lategame. I just wish for how long Part 1 takes that there was more to it before Part 3 opens up. Or even just if only one route existed for Part 1.

@MobileVespy And to be fair I don't think Dagsion itself is even the problem, I way prefer it over the Monastery, (still room for improvement) I just think the World Map takes up too much time.

@MobileVespy Alright fair enough lol, all good. Regardless tho I think peoples issues with the hubworld and world map are super valid I don't think they add much to the game beyond bloating hours. People who've been playing FE aren't gonna like when the FE gameplay gets overshadowed

@MobileVespy @Forgot2Heal Not only do those literally not add anything to the gameplay loop besides being more chores to do, two of the 4 routes literally can not access those mechanics.

@jingercookiee I feel like the shit this game caught is purely just anger bubbling over from the mainline games because this was significantly better than anything the series put out since Gen 5 with maybe Sun and Moon as the exception

@Crownified The only weird placement is Shadows, everything else makes sense.

@queenly_arts The repetitive tasks get grating very quickly, and the unit progression as a result of instructions slows to a crawl so the monastery ends up feeling unrewarding. Also its very unflattering to look at and never changes.
