There are multiple factors that contribute to this & we shouldn’t assume that all Catholic men are equally interested in being priests.

Maybe you can blame Souza for Merrill, but he got better. Also I suspect Souza contributed to the success of guys like France, Samad, Rengifo etc.

@LrdGalvatron @RyanCohen24 There is no proof Souza did this. Tatis always messes with his stance and had a long HR drought last year as well. I doubt Souza has a lot of influence over how Tatis hits. He probably has his own coaches and regiment he follows.
