MoonPy now integrates the powerful False Positive Probability code VESPA! vespa.readthedocs.io/en/latest/ This code, which is unfortunately no longer maintained, is not easy to get installed on your own... But MoonPy builds it for you, and even streamlines the process of running fits!

Installation is now easier than ever! Simply clone the repository and type python install_moonpy.py Which will create a new conda environment, install dependencies (macOS and Linux support), and establish the path to MoonPy all at once. github.com/alexteachey/Mo…

More improvements today: -Exoplanet Archive and ExoFOP databases are backed up before a new download in case of corruption -accessing the databases has been improved and streamlined (esp. K2) -unobserved_campaigns.txt file is now generated to speed up downloads for K2 targets

Now users have the option to skip the time-consuming database downloads from NASA Exoplanet Archive and ExoFOP, rather than an obligatory once-per-day query. If you know your target is already in the database on hand, no need to bother with downloading an updated version!

A couple overdue speed enhancements rolled out: 1) NASA database is now queried only once a day for new TESS curl scripts. 2) first-time TESS light curve queries now generate a text file catalogue of unobserved sectors that greatly reduces load times thereafter.

A small update: you can now phase-fold a detrended light curve on any arbitrary period: self.plot_lc(folded='y', period=x.xx) defaults to the assigned period attribute if not supplied. Could come in handy...
