There is no power again at Kyengera. What is the problem this time round; a fault on the Buddo line/problem with the transformer/ or planned shutdown. @UEDCLTD

one of the things that truly piss me off about this uetcl/uedcl situation is that when power goes off, the router goes off with it then you buy a quick mobile data bundle to continue with your work 5 minutes later, power is back on, now you switch back to wi-fi and you've a

The Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) has agreed to explore a new licensing framework for informal Wi-Fi router operators following a meeting with industry stakeholders aimed at addressing regulatory concerns and protecting the livelihoods of thousands of young entrepreneurs

@MosesJBwana Then create your own ISP first. No one is hindering you from that. Lastly, telecoms do not owe you enterprise packages on retail price. Retail is for strictly retail and telecoms can not be charging retailers more to supplement bandwidth for commercial users.

And what is making you get angry or are you advertising for telecoms. Its simply survival for the fittest.

..before you even speak about use of retail packages, ask yourself how did we reach here and why customers are running to these WiFi hotspots. Telecoms need to style up. They have become unnecessarily expensive and Ugandans must look for affordable options.

Layton @Laytonqajas

@JoelSsenyonyi But Joel, the real problem here is the Hotspot owners. They are using retail packages which are not meant for reselling and the more they use these packages, the more it bites retail users. Just think of it and see why telecoms have engaged ucc.

Telecoms are using UCC to kill the small WiFi businesses so that they can continue to steal from us.

May be the word consulting is misleading, but I see no reason why a man should not tell his wife about building for his family. When you get married you become one big family.

We've been married for 8 years and have two children. We have been saving to buy land to build our own home, however, school fees, rent and other expenses have slowed our progress. Recently, I discovered that my husband had built his parents a house upcountry. I learnt about it

It is sickening that the USA is now lifting sanctions on Russian fuel, and transparently ridiculous to blame Ukraine for the spike in prices that obviously began with the closure of the Strait of Hormuz. Putin is murdering innocent Ukrainian civilians every day. The Ukrainians

@BorisJohnson Shut up you warmongering idiot. You played a big part in why this war was not over long ago. You don't want an independent sovereign Ukraine, you want a Ukraine under the auspices of the UN. Many innocents died in the Dombass before the Invasion. How many since you interfered?

They did their job and the only sane thing for you to do is to pay them. Its not there fault that the rains never came, at least they did the work as requested. You need to keep that good relationship and accept that loss on your part. Making losses is just part of life.
