The people united will never be defeated! Congratulations, President Lula.

yall are way too broke to be this afraid of socialism

The way his fans and employees are acting you would think Ethan Klein had pulled off some great magic trick throughout his career to disguise how bigoted and gross of a person he is. But considering their participation right alongside him perhaps it’s an avoidance of looking in the mirror

The NYC subreddit is so alarmingly right wing. It’s like the NY Post editorial board’s Slack channel. How did this happen, given both the site and the city’s political leanings?

This is Tommy. Tommy had a question about my allegiances. Listen to the end to hear about his.

I’m sorry but I’m Team Art of Play. We will never know what demeanor the staff at the store had, but blasting a small local shop over something this petty just REEKS of celebrity privilege. She wasn’t ripped off or sold something defective, she just didn’t get what she wanted. That’s it. She turned an ordinary disappointing situation that regular people deal with every day into a one-sided jihad and I just don’t think the situation called for that at all.

Here's the thing about the Kelly Clarkson incident. Let's say it went down exactly as she described. You'd think, after finding out all the hate and harassment it caused, she'd put out a statement saying "Thanks for the support, but please don't harass Art of Play. I didn't mean for this to get out of hand." But she hasn't. So that's really telling.

I didn’t chime in on this because a) I honestly didn’t care that much and b) there are usually two sides to these things. But the way this went, as best I can tell, is that Kelly Clarkson walked into this Brooklyn store, voluntarily looking a bit homeless, and inquired about a fake bird. In between helping a ton of other people, they told her the bird was not for sale but here is the artist’s info, he sells them for about $15,000. In the meantime, here is a $2,000 bird they DO offer. Which Clarkson took to mean, “You can’t afford our bougie bird that costs as much as a baby grand so here, take this pathetic $2,000 knock-off like good little poor.” (Which is a stupid interpretation all around because who but a rich person has $2k to drop on a fake bird? But okay.) Anyway, that was not the intended message, but she immediately walked out and put this little business on blast to her millions of followers who instantly swarmed like bees with zero additional information. I don’t give a crap whether Clarkson ends up with a fake bird or how much it costs. She can have a menagerie of $20,000 parakeets or she can whittle them herself out of sticks from her backyard, I don’t care. But I do care that so many people can be instantly riled up on social media to attack a potentially innocent person or business simply because their celebrity idol tells them to.

The @kellyclarkson tapes are OUT! And guess what? The footage shows NO evidence of her being disparaged. What it DOES show is her looking at the bird, staff assisting otherS, and Kelly having an outburst as she leaves - and other customers clearly uncomfortable by her conduct.

@angkasabintang @SoWhatchaJen We’re now doing fanfics of what was being said now to create a reality where we’re right instead of the evidence from prior to this showing that it was never for sale

@emailsfrompete @Ml_buckley1010 @kellyclarkson @artofplay @1010WINS Okay say he was rude. Does that mean his employees should lose their jobs? Does it mean that everyone in that store should be threatened? Fucking think about it

I don’t think you have a dog in this fight but if you did you would have shot it.

I’ll take @ellalangleymsic over Kacey Musgraves any day. And if I’m choosin’ Texas, I’ll take Ken Paxton over James Talarico.

@DaddyisDontay @theblaqroom_ @yashar Who cares. Kelly Clarkson is a multimillionaire with a massive audience publicly going after a small business. Her actions will directly lead to the loss of jobs. She will cause people to lose their livelihood and for what?

@theblaqroom_ @DaddyisDontay @yashar They’re not saying that. They said that there is a 15000 version, but that version was in Seattle. They proposed the 2000 version so she could leave the store with something

@grentontv Best part of RQs is seeing friends after you finish your match and are waiting for next pairings and talking about how your games went

@stephenfishbach Dungeon Crawler Carl, incredibly well done as an audiobook. If you like the first, it gets better in both writing and audio production with each book. I’d say it’s one of those books that’s better as an audiobook, Jeff is incredible.

@nazzobetweeting @CalvinSchalch Famously only leftist politicians defect to the right, not centrists. Only they should be punished when that happens because surely centrists libs do not defect to the right, famously.

@YuutoShJ I get you on the Irelia, I have this mental block when it comes to that deck, I just hate it idk why it doesn’t feel good playing against it. Normally play super well in a competitive area but facing Irelia? Fundamentals just go out the door

This is what the institutionalists are focusing their efforts on now: Disavowing #HasanPiker. Not white Christian nationalists? Not the broligarchs? Not the AI overlords? Nope, the guy encouraging young people to use their collective political power for good. F*ck that noise.

@AikadoLoR Maybe reveal the legend that is registered on confirmation of match result
