My take: ‘ Like Steph Curry re-revolutionized the game with the trey. @jalenbrunson1 has rerevolutionized it with his foot game. Feet that maybe can’t dunk on a regular. Adrian Dantley Kevin McHale Isiah and Tiny A into a basketball player who can best be described as Barry Sanders with a jumpshot. ‘ ‘ @KnicksFanTv
@MrChuckD @jalenbrunson1 Good comp. Celts still sweeping them.
@MrChuckD @jalenbrunson1 Won’t matter. The Joker winning it again.
@MrChuckD @jalenbrunson1 He scored 63 of 69 points against my sons Chicago Whitney Young squad featuring Jahlil Okafor in a state semi final loss.
@MrChuckD @jalenbrunson1 Yeah, I ♥️ Tiny Archibald! He took the Cousy game to another level.
@MrChuckD @jalenbrunson1 100% agree. I’m having my young son try to learn his moves. Brunson proved you don’t need to be the biggest to score in the paint.
@MrChuckD @jalenbrunson1 @MrChuckD I’ll add to that - he is the PG version of Hakeem Olajuwon. Hakeem wasn’t the tallest, the most brolic but during the Golden era of centers he caused nightmares with his footwork. We hadn’t seen that type of footwork since The Dream, and now jalen Brunson
@MrChuckD @jalenbrunson1 I see the vision, but I think we need a deep playoff run for him to have a comparable impact. But it fits the bill, undersized, not-traditionally athletic kids will see themselves in JB like they saw themselves in Steph 10 years ago.
@MrChuckD @jalenbrunson1 Perfectly said Chuck!! Kids nowadays can relate more to Brunson as not everyone is blessed with height, speed and or athleticism and Brunson is a perfect example that you can excel in other parts of the game
