Sure, curriculum is important but don't underestimate the power of 'living skills.' Emerge from this: making omelettes, opening cans, chopping veggies, doing laundry, cutting the grass, making smoothies, online banking, BBQ'ing and price-matching.

Room 203 is getting back into the swing of a #thinkingclassroom by exploring some ‘good problems’ and ‘numeracy tasks’ from @pgliljedahl’s website. The Unhappy Meals task was a massive hit today and a great intro for our Science lesson on the use and disposal of goods.

@wheeler_laura @HTheijsmeijer Hey, I capture student thinking using @Ramp_Education. It’s a mobile app that is similar to the Google Forms set-up on this note. However ‘RampEd’ does all of that for you. Check it out on iOS and Android.
