"Let's talk about Level scaling. A lot of people have complained about never feeling like they gained power." "Okay so items have a required level but people need to look at item power instead" "...moving on" UHHHHH??? Can we talk about Level scaling????
@MrLlamaSC Most people just want to complain. Level scaling when done well (which it has been in Diablo 4 imo) allows the player to do content in any order they want and with correct gear scaling you still get power trips. I think too many people play on WT2 when they really want WT1
@MrLlamaSC Honestly - the level scaling in the game is ATROCIOUS - and they dodged the question HARD - I love Diablo - but JFC that was laughable
@MrLlamaSC I think the level squish was kind of a disaster. Tremendous power and progression allowed players to go to older expansions and with sheer numbers decimate. Now that WoW is so huge, cramming everything into 70 levels poses problems. Scale is one of them.
@MrLlamaSC Never gaining power? wtf? Game is mindiessly easy. Once you pick a sacred or then an ancestral weapon, all content except high tier dungeons is extremely easy. Cant believe you guys want game to be easier already. Wtf? Go play zelda.
@MrLlamaSC Yeah I hated the level scaling in D4. Just felt like leveling up was detrimental because my gear would quickly be made ineffective. Level scaling also made the experience feel like putting in dues to reach the end game. As opposed to a unique path I walked to get there.
@MrLlamaSC you won’t feel strong till you get your build going anyways you 1 shot anything in the open world when you have your build perfect
@MrLlamaSC I think if they fixed scaling, made itemization interesting instead of 'more higher level so higher level gear = more good'would make this game infinitely better.Allow players to be creative and not restricted to simplistic gear system. Some scaling could be fine if done properly.
@MrLlamaSC I don’t understand what people would replace it with. A small portion of people don’t like but have no solution.
