@EastTNMama Alarms on the cell phone for daily tasks. Annoying as heck but works. A white board for things that must be done that aren't routine. Grace for yourself. Progress is progress even if it isn't what was intended.
@tahiniok @fitgirltruth One thing I forgot to mention, I use full spectrum bird lights for my parrots and added one for the ducks. It's an important component for any indoor bird.
@tahiniok @fitgirltruth They're just like chickens. Yes.
@Purina why put a coupon on a box of food that isn't valid? $6 off Fancy Feast 42 pack is a lot to save except when the coupon doesn't work at the Walmart register.
@tahiniok @fitgirltruth They wore a harness like a diaper cover with straps. You cut diapers to fit inside the coverall. Waddle at will. Swim time in the tub. Pet beds for napping. It's still messy w grooming and diaper changing but if you can't get out of a city or HOA it's doable
@FarmerCrafted Hated fruit cake until I was gifted a Collin Street Bakery cake. It is nothing like the gooey slop with rubber fruit in others. I actually began buying them for myself after that. collinstreet.com
@fitgirltruth @tahiniok I used duck diapers and had indoor ducks when I lived in the city. They work! I don't know about the online brands as it was 20+ yrs ago. The diaper holders were sold by someone who wrote a spiral bound book I randomly found.
@Amicus_Chiron Her eyes are kinda creepy. For a minute there I thought she was a sexbot. 😂
Does it have that tattletail crap installed because I'm pretty sure my eyes would be squinched shut & I don't need it locking up on me at a moment like that.
@ericvh6011 @EastTNMama If the cut sheet for the butcher doesn't have it, ask. If you paid for that cow you should be able to get bones and trimmings which a lot of people don't do.
@ericvh6011 @EastTNMama I will take everything they will give me. Bones, fat, organs and sometimes goodies from a previous cow because some folks don't take everything. Silly people.
@EastTNMama I order before I need it and then race to can what's still in the freezer. It becomes canned sloppy joes, taco meat, pot roast for soups, etc. I usually end up regretting not canning more of it because the convenience can't be beat.
@ericvh6011 @EastTNMama About 25 cubic feet of space. The big 'un. And sometimes you have to stuff some of the meat into your kitchen freezer and the spare in the garage. Depends on the cow size and if you get bones, organs, etc.
@HemmerleinLee If I'm missing I'm dead because I'm never more than an hour late for milking. I'm sure Flock has for my face somewhere. No need to duplicate on social media.
@clif_high Oh and for the record I think your timing was off again. 2025 was a cake walk. This has been one of the worst years of my life and I'm no spring chicken.
@clif_high Sorry but studies actually show swearing lessons pain. It's really fucking painful at the moment so ... Love ya, but no. My tolerance just isn't as high as it used to be and I simply must.
"And this is where the video becomes a disturbing reflection of human behavior. Not every dangerous arrangement announces itself through cruelty or deception. Some begin with opportunity, generosity, and an extraordinary degree of convenience."
I’ve watched this video several times, and what disturbs me most isn’t the moment the gate closes. It’s everything that happened before it. For five days, these animals returned to the same place, ate the same food, and walked away unharmed. Each visit made the next one easier.
@DRanchLife @wilson_dunham_f Oh yes, favorite time of the year When I can't tell if we have a serial killer on the loose or not.
