During story time, we can ask students how they think characters are feeling or relate to the movie “Inside Out” and incorporate an art activity with colours based on emotions or even through play @EY_uwindsor

In my Math class I learned that math confidence comes from teaching students' creative ways to solve mathematical problems & allowing students to engage in fun lessons that are inclusive and student-centred. Math should be fun & creative!🧮💙 @EY_uwindsor

Yesterday was my last Early Years class. Truly my favourite class throughout my B.Ed. program. The lessons taught by @S_Shahbazi23 were so fascinating, inspirational, and very insightful. Thankful for the skills and knowledge that I have gained from this class.💜📚 @EY_uwindsor

In my Students with Special Needs class I learned how Yoga practice helps to improve ADHD symptoms. Daily mindfulness activities provides a calming and relaxing atmosphere for students, it also improves attention skills and symptoms of anxiety and stress.🧘‍♀️ @EY_uwindsor

In my Aboriginal Ways of Knowing class we are learning about Intergenerational Trauma amongst Indigenous people. Such an important topic to discuss and to be aware of. Due to colonization it has resulted in structural and systemic disadvantages. @EY_uwindsor
