First year in my 46 years that I can remember not having a family Easter dinner. Things are different.

I just noticed this about myself...every time I see the first look wedding videos and the groom is crying, my first thought is that he's crying over losing his freedom. I really need a change in my perspective. I should be thinking love not loss. #WIP

I don't know, what if we remove the degree requirement for some positions that can be learned on the job?! We are missing out on talented humans, because they lack a degree. Because a person may have lacked time & money to level up, they can't level up. #bydesign

There are just some things that I am tired of having to do for myself. God, where is my husband? I have a list for him.

@enterprisecares rented a vehicle to me that didn't allow me to make it out of Roanoke before I started having issues. I missed my son's event because of it. The treatment I received from the Branch Manager escalated the situation and they still owe me for the gas I couldn't use.

Aside from a few situationships, I've been single for 14 years. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to be going for some kind of record. But, I would gladly yield that prize.

I realize I carry so much tension in my jaws. I clinch my teeth so tight I get headaches before I recognize it.

To spend my days curating pieces of decor for clients would be dreamy.

a gentle reminder: do not let your empathy for others drain you to the point that you no longer have the capacity to show up for yourself.
