a4- I deleted Facebook from my phone last week. That's helped a bit. I get into a pattern of mindlessly scrolling and using it as a crutch when I have down time. Better things I could be doing! #vaslchat

a4- We've either attended or will attend meetings with all grade levels by the end of this week. I think (hope) they know we are there for them. Meeting face to face has been key to know we're there to support them (even though we aren't on the master schedule). #vaslchat

a3- Got a GREAT idea from @HeatherBrownVA 's page where students can access a Google form from Destiny's Learning links. We may steal that :-) #vaslchat We're also building a library site (mainly for Curbside checkout logistics) but hope to add to it and maybe have book recs

#vaslchat a2- Haven't really dabbled in virtual book clubs. We had open hours last year where students would come and share books they were reading. I'm facilitating a school sponsored Chat n Chew (parent led) with book selection. Maybe this is the year I can try to join in!

#vaslchat a5- We're involved in both social committee and are SCA advisors. So we will host more spirit weeks and have talked about having Zoom get togethers as a staff. Hoping students will come to our office hours next week when we start up!

#vaslchat a4- More a personal challenge. Getting anxious at the thought of when this will "end" and will I be able to see my family again before school starts up again next fall? I always spend a few weeks at "home" and the thought of not being able to do that is saddening.

#vaslchat Q3- We have been recording tutorials and building collections in Destiny. We're trying to figure out a good time to roll these out since we know classroom teachers are overwhelmed. Also trying to plan fun and meaningful weekly activities for our students.
