@EJuskiewicz @IL_Resource_Ctr @maggieessig Oh, I have not seen these yet. They look fantastic and love the cultural diversity. Trying to encourage the team to try out wordless books, so perhaps it is time to expand the collection... title III perhaps? 😀

@EJuskiewicz Thanks Libby! Booster is a must and he is so cute. There was another read aloud I discovered and love that didn't make the cut called The Day You Begin. That would have been there if the classroom rolled out on day 1.

@EJuskiewicz I was definitely caught eating on camera today, and there is lingering evidence of it if you ask the right person! Either way I alone am guilty of 10 of these today lol!

Teamwork makes the dream work... one cognate tree for Room 305 envisioned by my fabulous mentee/classroom-mate Mariela Bagai (not yet on twitter). Looking forward to students enjoying our craftiness and making connections between L1 and L2. #62Learns #62SO

@haqs09 I bet I can guess which classroom at SO you are referring to... I'm still scratching my head on how this became a thing??? 🤔

Now that conversation skills are in full swing, it was time to introduce wordless picture books to 2nd grade PT. First step is to build our word wall for each part of the story. Students were excited to become storytellers and retell Rainstorm by Barbara Lehman! #62Learns #62SO

Is this man landing on the moon? 2nd graders practice building on to and challenging each other’s ideas during conversations by creating an idea wall. #62Learns #62SO #SOstudentfocused #AcademicConversations

@EJuskiewicz @CBTennyson @AndreaHonigsfel @HeinemannPub @Toppel_ELD @TanELLclassroom I love using Pixar shorts and present them using Edpuzzle to make sure we stop and inference. By the way, Lang. and Lit. is on the way thanks to @middleweb !
