Genuine question for people running multiple coding agents: how do you currently know when one is finished? Not "how should you" — what do you actually do. I want to know if the answer is still "alt-tab and look".

That costs more to build. Detection has to happen locally, per surface, instead of parsing a transcript server-side. But it's the only version I'd put on a work laptop.

So we built the thing that tells you. One row per chat: Ready, Generating, Waiting, Idle. A floating icon that goes green the moment one is ready. One click puts that exact terminal or tab in front of you.

There's one question that decides whether a dev tool ever gets installed on a work machine: what does it send? This one sends two things. A chat title, and a status. The conversation stays on your machine.
Four statuses, and the expensive one isn't the one you'd guess. Generating is fine. That's the work happening. Waiting is the agent stopping mid-run because it needs an answer from you — and you not knowing yet. That's the time you don't get back.
