Al-'Allāmah al-Imām Rabī' al-Madkhalī was asked on the 28th Night of Shawwāl 1438 Masjid an-Nabawī about 'Abdullāh al-Barbarāwī as-Sūmālī. Imām Rabī' said "He is against The People Of Sunnah". "Do not study (with him), Do not study (with him).
Al-'Allāmah al-Imām Rabī' al-Madkhalī was asked on the 28th Shawwāl 1438 about his previous commendation for Dr 'Uthmān Mu'allim as-Sūmālī and if he still praises him. Imām Rabī' said "I used to however I've seen that he is with the people of desires so I have abandoned him".
Sh. Muhammad al-Bannaa: "May Allah keep Shaykh Rabee' alive to remove those who wear the clothes of Salafiyyah in order to fight it."
