The EU commission enforces new regulations for #MedicalDevices - #MDR - that must be applied by 26th of May 2020. These new regulations entail stricter requirement for pre-market verification and validation and further governance in form of #PostMarketSurveillance.

The rules and regulations set by the EU commission are put in place to protect the patients - the people we care about. An investigation by ICIJ shows that there is a need for rules to be strengthened on #medicaldevices.
