Me: I would never use Stifle, it's such a cheap trick of a card. Also me: casts Surgical Extraction to stop a Deathrite Shaman from eating a land.
I can't wait to play 4 Mana Drain, 4 Brainstorm in every deck on MTG Arena.
I can't believe I won the Timeless Clash event!!! I would not have been able to do this if not for the time spent practicing the deck - remember, practice makes perfect! GGs all, and Thanks to @anzidmtg @TheWillHallExp for organizing.
My conclusion on the Timeless format: Dark Ritual should be restricted and the remaining fetch-lands should be added.
I still think the two decks I posted 2 weeks ago is the best thing you can do in Timeless. I wish I had a 100 game sample size but I'm not there yet. (average match length for UB is 30 mins lol)

I can just refer to Modern/Legacy/Vintage decks and building a Timeless deck becomes straightforward. I was never against digital-only Alchemy cards because they made deck-building novel. The existing digital cards do not make the cut and are generally too weak in Timeless.
I am so ready! I remember reading somewhere that the set would release at 1pm CT today.
I'll be streaming more and playing the new Timeless format for a few weeks attempting to solve UB or Esper Control while reaching rank 1. If those don't perform I'll fallback on the powerful Tainted Pact combo deck. See you then!

I thought that the no banlist event on MTGA was so popular because you didn't need to own the cards to play. New Fetch land format = people buying more packs, huh? Also, stop hating on Alchemy cards because of not bothering to read/learn them.

This game became unplayable with someone having discovered a coinflip deck, HOW do I beat UW SCAM as UW control? Sudden Edict is a black card...

I played a lot of Phoenix last few days and my conclusion is that Wizards is slightly better - but Phoenix could overtake it if it had its own version of Flame of Anor.

Second 7-0 in the #Historic #Metagame #Challange! 🏆 After 2 extra 6-1 (Wizards & G-Devotion) I wanted to try some Control, but I didn't have any list so I netdecked @Mystmin's UW without asking me any questions. I just wanted to have fun and this win was incredibly unexpected!🤑
This deck is funtastic in Timeless. Big thanks to @Mystmin for creating this beast. Cutting Ragavan is 100% the right call and Ashiok + Blood Moon is strong vs Titan decks. The only card I find questionable is Minsc and Boo and possibly under city plunder in the side.
