Oh also I didn’t comment on the trade. Another great trade. Knicks are better now than they were 5 days ago. Good OG insurance with Bojan, although Knicks need OG to be serious. Slowly becoming a team of shooters.

Every analyst keeps saying the Knicks are one star away from contention. As that narrative continues, Brunson keeps dropping 40 on everyone and the Knicks keep winning, so I don’t really know how much longer we can confidently say the Knicks are one superstar away. We got a GUY.

I really like McBride, but he is not a point guard. He’s still a good defender who can hit shots, worth some playing time, but it’s apparent the Knicks need a backup PG. I know Brogdon and Clarkson are possible. If not them, anyone who can dribble the ball up the court. Calderon?

It’s very obvious the edge that OG is giving this squad. The same reason Knicks fans were salivating over Hart, OG brings all those tools, but amplified with better defense and shooting.

RJ was home grown, worked hard and had a good attitude, easy to root for. However he was not good. Will miss Quickley, but with Brunson becoming a legit star, Knicks didn’t want to pay for him to stay. OG is a massive upgrade. All nba defender who knows his role on offense.

It’s preseason so can’t look too much into this, but Randle is chilling. Not forcing anything. If he truly takes a backseat to Brunson, the trajectory of this squad is so much higher.

The year the Knicks drafted Obi, every mock draft had the Knicks drafting Haliburton. Why? Because the Knicks had a million PFs and were in need for a guard. Knicks don’t deserve Obi. Happy for him, he’ll finally get the chance he deserves.

Horrible ending to an amazing season. I knew after the game 2 win that this was over. Knicks looked like a team that was underprepared all series. Big shout out to Jalen Brunson, king of New York. Excited for the future.

This isn’t a cute underdog story. The New York Knicks are scary, and they will go toe to toe against anyone. Jalen Brunson (not an all star) dominated and outplayed two all stars. Mitchell Robinson dominated two all nba defensive players. The Knicks are here and they are real.
