If you need to enroll in a Medicaid managed care health plan, you will be notified by mail. Make sure your local Department of Social Services (DSS) has your current mailing address, phone number and email address (especially if your contact information has changed).
Community partners: follow @NCMedicaidOmb for updates about Medicaid Managed Care in North Carolina. You can call the Ombudsman at 877-201-3750 if you need help understanding the transition to Managed Care. Their staff are bilingual!
