I can't close your loan with out the loan docs!!! DUH!!!
Get a call this AM from the LO...why didn't the loan close at 9am? Because your company didn't send the TC docs Fri, Mon or this morning.
NOT CORRECT the problem! Guy now can't sell the property because of the title mess. He will be foreclosed on next month because of it.
New loan has the correct lot number, but there is no deed showing that the buyer ever purchased that lot. In 7 years, 2 attorneys did
Buyer doesn't realize, he technically doesn't own the house he lives in, refinances, another attorney signs off on incorrect title.
Buyer buys property, wrong lot number on deed. Instead of a correction deed, attorney does an affidavit which doesn't correct problem in NC
NC needs to become a Title state. I'm sick of lazy attorney's screwing up title!
Nope, the State Bar actually lets them keep practicing law. They can even keep doing real estate law! How insane is that?
You'd think that when a NC attorney is indicted on federal mtg fraud charges the State Bar would suspend their law license?!
If you want the closing done correctly, you will pay for a quality notary closing agent! You get what you pay for!
Names wrong on docs! Names don't match goverernment issued photo id! It's getting sloppier & sloppier!
Very tough EOM! Too many loans didn't close. LO's told BO's they didn't need funds to close, but HUD had them bringing funds to table.
I had 8 closings today. All went smooth. Now it's time for a weekend off.
With Identification laws changing, TC's and lenders better realize that borrowers & buyers names on docs need to match their state DL's.
Just added myself to the http://wefollow.com twitter directory under: #mortgage, #titleinsurance, #notary
Why is it that TC's and lenders refuse to acknowledge STATE NOTARY LAWS? Why do they think if the name ISN'T on the ID, we can notarize it?
me dead, because he's waited for 2 hours, even though I TOLD him I didn't have docs and wouldn't be there before 2!
closing will have to be pushed back a little later. LO calls borrower and says Notary is on the way...I DON'T have docs!!! Borrower wants
UGH! It's officially EOM! I would like loan officers to walk in my shoes for a day! I call a borrower, tell them I don't have docs yet...
Closed 8 loans today. Got 10 on the books tomorrow, and only 1 set of loan docs! Hope the TC's don't expect me to be on time at this rate!
