@Phelps1594259 Jesus doesn’t call it the worst. He says it’s the only unforgivable. Not quite the same. Also, since you pointedly mention the Bible, Christ doesn’t say blasphemy—he says “the sin against the Holy Ghost.” Yours is a common assumption of what that means, but it’s not in the text.

This is how I view suicide. If one destroys one’s own self, “one’s own temple/church, home of the soul” we can only beg our Father in Heaven to spare others; that one that was lost is gone forever. So yes don’t go destroy statues and paintings, folks. And also guard your souls.
