I would be ecstatic if Cooper Dejean ends up here, don't think there's a chance in hell that the Eagles take him in the first round.
@JohnBarchard it all depends on what they see him as. Safety/nickel CB type? Hell no. Legit starting outside CB? Yes.
@NFLGimpy and I'm not even sure they would do it if they view them as just a straight outside corner. He'd be fantastic in Fangio's system, but don't even know how many snaps he would actually have in year one.
@JohnBarchard @NFLGimpy I'm just not there on DeJean as a CB - just re-watched him for the 3rd time this weekend and my thoughts: Wisconsin game is best game to watch because he played more traditional CB and press. He didn't go against Will Pauling but gave up separation to Bryson Green all game.
@greghartpa @NFLGimpy I agree, don't think he's a CB here. x.com/JohnBarchard/s…

@JohnBarchard @NFLGimpy The narrative repeated is weird. He's immensely talented but have seen people say he's an inside/outside CB, SAF, and can rush the passer. His career pass rush attempts are... 6. Hes talented but he's not staying with NFL WRs IMO.
@greghartpa @JohnBarchard I'm of the opinion Eagles safety situation is good enough. CJGJ/Blankenship/Brown is good enough with the right scheme/supporting cast. There's a massive ass void across from Slay. If DeJean is just a safety/NB for Eagles, I think they pass.
@greghartpa @JohnBarchard the more I think about it, I think a trade up for Arnold or Mitchell is quite plausible
