Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk did an appeal. "Ukrainians who live in Crimea are asked to leave and wait out the deoccupation in another territory," she said. I expect things will get spicy in occupied Crimea the next couple of months.
Wishing Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk and the people of Ukraine every success in their steadfast commitment to the de-occupation and reintegration of Crimea. As Ukraine embarks on this challenging journey, may the international community recognize and support their rightful pursuit of territorial integrity. The Strategy for De-occupation and the Crimea Platform are testament to Ukraine's dedication to peace, justice, and the protection of human rights. We hope for the swift and peaceful reclamation of Crimea.
@NOELreports Funny that this kind of message should worry UKR people. Instead it worries RUS people :D BTW Seems like ground invasion coming? For now, there were surgeon attacks, no civilian casualties. Why leave then ;)?
@NOELreports I believe Ukrainians will spend their Xmas 🎄 in Crimea without Russians occupier this coming December
@NOELreports Interesting. Without a Ukrainian population, it'll be harder for partisans to remain hidden. It may be that the time for partisans is coming to an end, with overt action taking its place. (There may be some Russians working for Ukraine, and perhaps they'll continue.)
@NOELreports Tbh that feels like nothing more than a psyop.
@NOELreports That request is probably easier said than done. I suspect most Ukrainians in Crimea would rather chance bad things & remain at home, rather than go to Russia, where bad things WILL happen to them. Maybe some might be able to cross by sea to unoccupied Ukrainian territory though.
