After sending 10M+ cold emails, I'm sure founders have AI backwards. Half of them bought an AI SDR to run outbound for them. The other half still won't let AI write a single email. Both groups are wrong, in opposite directions. Around 80% of the sales teams I speak to cancelled their AI SDR inside 3 months, because it never produced pipeline. And my team runs almost entirely on AI: > Claude Code drafts every email we send > Hermes builds whole lists from one Slack message > I plan campaigns out loud on walks (Wispr Flow) > a human checks every line before anything sends Those two facts fit together once you look at the prospect's inbox. Every founder selling to them has the same models now, so they get 50 cold emails a day that read the same. The email costs nothing to write anymore. Choosing who gets it and what you offer them is the whole job now. Our AI-written personal first lines have hit a 0.27% reply rate. A campaign using one real detail from the prospect's business (their project and location) hit 14.5%. AI works off theory and tells you what you want to hear. Campaign data tells you what your buyer replies to. If your edge was writing better emails, AI just handed everyone your edge. The founders who know their market better than the model are running outbound cheaper than ever. Adapt or fall behind.

Black Monday wiped 22.6% off the Dow Jones in a single day back in 1987. Today, oil is elevated, Treasury yields are at their highest since 2007, and bank stocks are under pressure. I'm not saying a crash is coming, but watch what's happening beneath the surface. Expensive oil feeds inflation. High yields make borrowing costlier. Cautious banks tighten liquidity. When pressures stack up, even strong assets get sold as investors cut risk. So know what you're buying: ➾ Long-term investors: A sell-off can offer great companies at prices a rally never would. Cheap isn't the same as good. ➾ Traders: Volatility creates opportunity, but it can liquidate you before the market turns. Sometimes sitting out is the trade. ➾ Crypto: If stress spreads, BTC and alts could see another wave of selling. Ask which assets recover first, where liquidity returns, and which projects still have real demand when the hype fades. ➾ Cash holders: Don't rush every dip. Scale in instead of chasing the exact bottom. No signal guarantees another Black Monday, and nobody knows how this plays out. I'm watching oil, Treasury yields, the dollar and credit conditions. TLDR: Know what you're looking for before the opportunity shows up.
